Filofax Personal Holborn Zip

After my on and off relationship with filofax throughout my university, I finally found the (near) perfect match.

Filofax Personal Holborn Zip in Wine colour.

I got it from Bricknells Stationery as filofax UK have no stock yet. It has incredible red wine colour with super soft leather. I love the slightly round design and elegant stitch. (Compare to Cuban zip, I had chance play around before. It is over 120% softer) but with 23mm rings.

It lays flat right out the box!

Here came is my Set Up 2012.

 On the right side, it has right open pocket with 8 card slots. You can see I am using the card slots as my pen holder. I would wish the pocket has a zip or strap, so I don’t have to worry things may slip out.

 On the front I have a plastic card holder for some random photos, followed by filofax registration page, personal information and 4 year planner.

Section 1- monthly tabbed refill from day timmer, I use it for work shift recorded, appointment reminder and habit recorded eg, daily walk.

At the back of the monthly page, I divid the note section and use it as expense recorded.

Section 2 - week on 2 pages diary 2012 in cotton cream. use for daily to do's, appointments, random notes, work shifts. I used white WO2P for 2011, but found I need equal space for Saturday and Sunday.

Section 3 - diary section with self design 2 days per page use day timer graphic paper. It has 9 boxes for each day, with information like my improvement, happy moment, my wishes, health, reminder, data and weather...ect. I filling in before bed as many box as I can…

Section 4 - Notes with stickers, Holiday Plan, Career, Labour hours (I am moving this out, because I will filling my labour hours in day timmer monthly tab), Expenses (Cut out this too, it will be in the monthly tab as well), new add in health section - I use graphic paper horizontally recorded my sleep/wake time, weight.. health related habit.

Section 5 - information includes, family contact number, car insurance and AA, work number, world map and another clear plastic envelop for protection.

I put sticky notes at back pocket, with a dry highlight pencil in pen holder. There is another small zipped pocket inside the back pocket (see pic). I would prefer the zip pocket place in the front.

This is my new planner and set up for 2012, and I am so in love with holborn that I wish it last forever. Unfortunately it has a slight problem at the bottom last ring, I have email filofax about repair, although they are happy to have look. I don’t feel like to take the risk to send my filo away, so finger cross the problem will not become worse.

I am very happy with my current set up and wish filofax can bring more zipped version.
